Promote the integration and training of young people:

a shared mission of Belfius and the Queen Paola Foundation

The Queen Paola Foundation is committed to providing Belgian youth equal opportunities to succeed in life. That is why the Foundation supports different concrete projects: each carried out by associations that work to integrate and train young people (from 3 to 25 years old) who are vulnerable and socio-culturally disadvantaged. Usually, these are children and adolescents facing psychosocial or familial problems, for whom social integration is challenging due to a lack of training, school dropout, or other difficulties.

Because these needs are urgent, the Foundation pays particular attention to small associations that do not receive subsidies and have limited resources. For example: homework schools, youth centers, socio-cultural and sports associations, youth shelters, educational farms, etc.

Thanks to the hundreds of associations that the Queen Paola Foundation has supported for more than 30 years, more than 300,000 young people have already seen their situation improve.
